Edit: Starlord, those customs look beautiful! Medusa especially is excellent. This is how her and Mystique should have been released.

Although, am I the only one who prefers Raven in her body stocking underneath her tunic? People tend to forget that she never showed skin (other than her head) for YEARS.

I do like your suggestion, it matches my minimalist approach to displays and would not detract too much from the figures themselves or their poses/motion...these are the most important aspects to be celebrated when I throw a display together. I like to explore, on strength of pose alone, whether I can bridge that gap between the aforementioned 'shelf' and 'panel.' Sometimes I'm successful, other times I'm not. But when I've done it, I feel a satisfying sense of accomplishment. At times, I feel like dios can function as a crutch, but that's partly because I'm jealous that I don't have any!

If the struggle of figure storing warrants a cry of frustration, finding a place to stow dioramas-a-plenty would be a walking nightmare. You can magnetise the pieces and thus flat pack them, but still the question remains. This is why I'm entering the field of rubble/debris/smoke making, as these are all universal to any battle between figures! They can also hide light wiring, flight stands, and prop up those tricky characters that love to stumble into everyone and knock your entire display down (I'm looking at you, Kate Bishop, and your gummy legs!)

I may be going overboard, though. Every shelf in my cabinet has some form of dust cloud and brick debris scattered amongst the heroes. It's quite addictive.
