Can someone tell me, if S.H. Figuarts plans to release an Rey Figure?
Because iam not sure if i shall buy Mafex Version, or wait for S.H. Figurarts, because these Figures have better more accurate Head Sculpt overall.
Do not get me wrong, i have pre ordered all Mafex Ben Affleck Batman Figures, even Desert Outfit, because i like the Head Sculpt. But i know
that S.H. Figuarts have an even better one, just look at the Captain America
Civil War unmasked Figure.
So is there a Chance, that Figuarts will release an Rey Figure in the Future?
Because i know that they have already started to produce Star Wars Figures, and these look so accurate
I think it's fair to assume Rey will get the Figuarts treatment eventually. The question is when though...
That being said, I feel you on the quality of Figuarts head sculpts, but in my opinion MAFEX really nailed the Force Awakens figures (obviously I'll have to wait to have them in hands since none are released yet), even more than Figuarts :
- Kylo Ren has a nice clothed robe (even though I'm usually not a fan of cloth on figures) and a cool unmasked head
- Phasma is really chrome
- C3PO is chrome too
- Even if the pic is kind of blurry, the Rey head sculpt seems pretty nice
That's why I personally decided to go for MAFEX when it comes to the new Trilogy figures, while I collect figuarts for the OT and prelogy.
Not sure if that will be of any help for you...
