And with the success of the Juggernaut wave and the fact that they've ignored X-Men for so long, they may want to double down on X in 2017.
I agree that Hasbro releasing her in an X-wave is definitely a possibility. I've just got a nagging in my head that says Walgreens's exclusive. It just mirrors the Walgreen's Daredevil release perfectly. She's basically a re-paint of a figure already released in the main line, but with a different/new head.

I don't see any reason why they wouldn't try for mass retail with a 6" version her. I could see her being released in a 2 pack with Spiderman (SDCC version with an unmasked Peter Parker alternate head). Or throw in J. Jonah Jameson to make it a 3 pack. But my money is on retail.
Gray-scale digital sculpts shown during the panel pretty much always turn into the next year's SDCC exclusive. (Moonstone, Star-lord, Dormmamu, Magik, Abomination, etc. were all shown as digital sculpts, the year prior to their exclusive sets. Lately though, Hasbro has been good about re-releasing these exclusives as repaints. It would be crazy-easy to re-paint MJ, too. Ex.Just change the black shirt to white, and the khaki pants to denim. So you never know, hopefully the trend continues.

But if not those two, then she would be a Walgreens' exclusive since she doesn't really fit in anywhere else.
Unfortunately, Monica has been hit with the SDCC gray-scale digital sculpt curse as-well. Fortunately, for her I agree with you and can see her easily being re-released in some wave/exclusive/set. Her digital sculpt also shows that she can be potentially re-painted from the Mighty Avengers costume shown into her Nextwave costume. This would also make a connection to the Dirk Anger head that was previously released. *Crosses fingers for more Nextwave figures*

Agreement. There's no way that she'll be one-and-done. Sue was a good-faith gesture to show that Hasbro's opening the door for the F4.
