Just opened up my TRU Avengers three pack, and while I have no pictures just yet...here are some thoughts...

Sam Wilson Cap: I'll try not to focus on his lack of wings, because the fact of the matter is that even though he is without them, he's pretty well executed. I was surprised to find that most of the upper torso is actually a new sculpt, with the star and chevrons being sculpted and raised, as opposed to simply just being painted on. Speaking of which, they're pretty crisp and clean, and while I wish a wash was applied to the red, the figure is appealing to look at. The legs appear to be somewhat short and stubby, but outside of that, Sam is pretty well done. I wish Hasbro would retire this clip type shield already, and simply go with the ones with the molded straps like we get with the MCU cap figures.

Vision: Nothing really to rant and rave about, but, I dig this new costume, and the new headsculpt is pretty solid, although he looks a bit too irritated to be Vision. The paints were really crisp on mine as well, so no complaints there. Bucky Cap body getting more mileage...thank goodness though it's getting retired soon. He's served us well. One thing to note, the new cape is awesome looking, and stays well enough, but is tricky to get on properly. You kinda have to bend it outwards a bit to insert the peg, otherwise it just barely fits on the shoulders and will pop off really easy. Solid figure. Bout the only other thing I could complain about is a lack of interchangeable hands. Two fisted Vision seems just wrong to me. He should have some outstretched hands so we can pose him in the classic gestures we see in the comics. Come on Hasbro...get with it already.

Kate Bishop: Not the costume I wanted just like everyone else, but truthfully, I don't know enough about the character to have a major gripe there. What I do know, is that she's pretty much standard repainted fare, utilizing the newer legends female body mold we just recently got with what appears to be an all new upper torso. Leg and hip articulation are better than Silk and Ashley Barton, though not by much. Her hands utilize the newer style pegs and can be easily removed and swapped with other recently released characters for different looks. Vision and Falcon's can not be though...they will require some heat and alterations if you want to easily swap those out. Kate's bow looks terrific, as it actually has paint as opposed to being a solid colored piece of plastic like past bows. One big complaint though, Kate's leg was SEVERELY warped inside the package...it was bent in an uncomfortable way...like in an Anderson "Spider" Silva way...and for me at least is gonna require a heat treatment or two to set it right.
