Also I am curious.... sorry for my ignorance but is this somewhat common knowledge, or would this be valuable information for new collectors who would also need to know this and maybe a subject like this should be sticky topic?

Well 1/24 would actually be way smaller around 3 inches and Neca makes 1/4 scale actions figures they are around 18 inches tall. The smaller the number like 1/1 scale is going to be bigger than say 1/32 scale. These are fractions of human height like 1/1 would be Human scale and 1/12 is 1/12 the scale of a human. Hope this kinda helps.
