And, I only do that to ensure the longevity of the post for people who browse the old threads. Normally third party websites won't keep the picture for another few months and will have to clear some stuff for the sake of having clean servers so that's why I re-host all of the pictures I post on this website. Plus, it's an OCD thing.
Also, thanks for making the archives in general. Your website has been extremely helpful and I just thought that I'd show my appreciation since I don't see a lot of people doing so.
Its all good, you can do whatever you want to with any image on there. I also hate going through old threads and having half the images missing. That's actually one of the reasons I started the Archive. I intentionally got a service that allowed for unlimited space so I wouldn't have to pick and choose what I wanted to save so if any images I have posted start disappearing that means I'm dead
. Thanks for the kind words, I'm glad it has been helpful.

CCC.
ditto this but I hate photobucket with a passion equal to a billion stars going supernova at the same time. Plus my employer seems to thing all photo sharing sites are anti-productive so they are all blocked. So if I'm purusing toy forums during work (which is common) I don't get to see any images from Photobucket or Imgur.

That's why you should stick with the two best image hosting websites, Imgur or Photobucket. Unfortunately, every now and then those websites malfunction and your pictures get deleted. This just happened with the photos from my Flash posts which really sucks because I put a lot of effort into them despite their low quality.
I really hate it when I look through some old posts and the picture's are deleted. That damn Photobucket cat that serves as a placeholder for deleted pictures haunts me.

Photobucket is the worst. Photobucket makes you go to their site to view the larger ones. I pity the people who do not have an Adblocker then.
Imgur is better but they have a limit of how many photos you can have. If you go over that limit they just archive the oldest ones. That disconnects them from everywhere.
You also can't just save an image from photobucket. you have to go to their freaking terrible site and click their stupid "download" button otherwise it will be corrupt and unviewable.

That seems sketchy...

In 2016 most hosting plans outside of poverty packages allow generous bandwidth anyway.
Maybe they just don't like you. I don't think they have blocked any of the images I've linked directly.
My hosting has unlimited storage and usage. I think it runs me about $10 a month or so. I pay for 2 years at a time so I don't recall exactly what I paid and I'm too lazy to look it up but it's worth it since I think I'm at about 10GB right now with just figure pictures.
and to keep this on the subject of DC appreciation.
@Kamatayan That Bruce Wayne head on the Chameleon suit looks perfect.
@neatogecko I'm loving all your crossover images. They are great.
and a couple old DC collection pictures
