Yah, I think you touched on that previously, so I knew to expect some smudging, but guess I got lucky, because the paint on mine is just about perfect. Even the eyes are incredibly precise, right down to the black pupil dots being centered properly in the irises. Very pleased.

Since mine just arrived, maybe it's part of a later batch from the manufacturer, and some kinks got ironed out. It wouldn't be the first time.
