Yeah, I was watching an unboxing yesterday and the shield in the video was packed like you described instead of being in a plastic bag. I wonder if the bag has something o do with the dried liquid effect.

Now the question for me is how to make sure my third shield is from this production batch that omits the plastic bag. I'd take slight scratches over dried liquid effect for sure.
