Picked up the Target War Machine/Disco Armor 2-pack. I have pretty much no opinion on the Disco Armor. I mean, it's fine for what it is but I don't even think people that like their Iron-Man armor collection would be too excited over this piece.


The War Machine however, is fantastic. I love the sort of dark-grey sparkly paint and silver they use and I LOVE the bulk of the figure. I have no problem attaching his accessories into his back, if you really push them in, friction does a decent job of keeping them in place.

My only real complaint is the head sits a little odd on the body. Makes him look like he has no neck. This problem is easily remedied by taking off the head and not putting it all the way on the ball joint. You can add some blu-tack or some other type of putty to make it a more secure fit, and it makes the proportions of the figure much, much better (I may show some pictures tomorrow).

One thing I like about Iron-Man figures is that in the comic books, Iron-Man suits already look high-tech and practical, so the movie figures still fit in quite well with the comic book figures. I may use this War Machine as a modern comic book figure.
