You're right, those look pretty good. Your clear photos represent them better than I've seen them represented elsewhere. But y'know, you're supporting the theft of Marvel's intellectual property, right? That said, I suspect Disney is allowing this because a.) it's proving to be a difficult task to hold China accountable for IP theft, and b.) increased 'toy' awareness isn't necessarily a bad thing when it's the movies that butter your bread...greater penetration into a pool of billions of movie-goers will have you turn a blind eye to a lot of things.

The figs are all seven inch scale, correct?

New titles don't last long due to oversaturation of the market. Nighthawk just got cancelled, She-Hulk got cancelled, X-23 got cancelled, Gambit got cancelled, and Hellcat, Drax and Mockingbird are all in danger of getting cancelled. Even Scarlet Witch, an extremely well-known character, has a badly selling book which will inevitably be cancelled soon.

The Mighty Thor, however, is selling really well. Same as Ms. Marvel and Spider-Man. It makes sense that Marvel are attempting to recreate that formula. Using well-known brands guarantees a longevity that can't really be questioned (unless it's Ghost Rider, which also got cancelled).

From a business perspective, legacy characters are doing very well, and Marvel is a business. Creatively? Your mileage is varying, with some loving them, and others hating them due to their principles, but given a chance, a few of the titles are really well written.

Speaking of legacy...

Nice pic! Is that a legacy, and if so, which one; Jean Grey/Marvel Girl or Phoenix? With Jean, many of those characters are time-slipped personas (granted I don't know much about these young original X-men). However, in my opinion, Rachel IS actually a different person. I do accept the Phoenix as a legacy. There's been a long history of characters that were hosts, or were familiar with other hosts of the Phoenix Force entity: Necron, Krovus, Rachel, Cyclops, etc.

Devil's advocate musings aside, I get where you are coming from on on the difficulty of launching a new character (and not so new even - Gambit, Nighthawk, and others...). That's why I encouraged that Marvel be more courageous with new titles. These books are getting cancelled after ten issues. The first volume of Rom ran for 75 issues, and Nova's first volume ran for 21. More time needs to be invested for these characters to get on their feet and find their stride.

I think Marvel should bring back titles like Marvel Team-up and Marvel Two In One. Comics that are/were anchored by popular heroes (Spider Man -MTU and Thing - MTIO), yet served to introduce new characters to readers. Those two titles exposed me to a wider Marvel Universe; characters and concepts like Deatlok, Quasar, Jack of Hearts, Black Goliath, Aquarius and Project Pegasus. They have to get out of their comfort zone because abusing Legacy is only going to get them but so far...
