So the Kylo Ren figure should be around .278" taller than the Luke figure. That's a little more than a quarter of an inch which isn't too far off from the difference seen in your own pictures especially when we consider that wearing the helmet and hood probably makes Adam Driver a little taller than usual.

Edit: I'm sorry if I just ruined toys for anybody by bringing mathematics into the thread.
