Hasbro makes some mistakes, but they fix their mistakes uncannily fast. I feel razzle-dazzled with every wave. I found Wave 4 last night at Wal-Mart and they were so beautiful my eyes started to tear up. The Skrull Warrior may be the single most beautiful marvel figure ever released.
I started buying ToyBiz with the first Marvel Heroes set and, for the time, they were amazing. Then they released Thor and Iron Man and it set off a decade of some of the worst figure waves ever. Scale was inconsistent, most waves only had one or two figures worth collecting, and you never knew when you were going to get a figure that fell apart straight out of the package.
When ToyBiz released the Spider-Man Classics and the Marvel Legends, Marvel Toys were almost dead. It was ML wave 6 before I saw more than 4 pegs of Marvel figures again.
I could come up with complaints about Hasbro, but they've done amazing things. If they gave me Aunt May flying a Quinjet at this point, I wouldn't be surprised. I wouldn't mind a few more unmasked heads, and the plastic hip joints confuse me, but I'm happy. Hasbro has made me happy.
