And now! Another behemoth Added to my Star Wars Vehicle Collection!
The new 2010 AT-AT Walker!!
Packaging looks great on this one, I've never had an AT-AT Walker before so I'm glad I was able to pick this one up from almost local seller on ebay.
I was suprised it only came wth one Figure the AT-AT Driver, it'd be nice if it came with the AT-AT commander or General Veers but hey, at least it's got a Driver.
Assembly is EASY just snap the Front part on, plug in the legs, and put on the bottom foot panels and snap in the guns and there! The AT-AT Is ready to crush the Rebels!
LOTS of Playroom in this thing! So Once you've gotten your Snowtrooper Forces assembled they can be placed inside to be ready to deploy from the AT-AT!
I haven't put the old INT-4 Mini-Rig to see if it can fit inside this AT-AT like it fit in the old one.
This is the Speederbike Storage Unit, nifty little thing in there it'd be nice if it could hold 2 Speederbikes.
I have no idea what this little hatch is for [Maybe for the snowspeeders to fly up and take an fast food order from the Hatch? LOL]
Still from the size of this sucker, and the fact it looks IMPRESSIVE once fully assembled and on display, and if you've had gotten the other Vehicles from the line, the large scale vehicles that is it's an EXCELLENT addition and well worth the money.
So here's my Rating:
Packaging:
10/10 No more annoying plastic ties, the package looks great too! And opening the package and pulling out the inner tray part makes this the easiest thing to get open!
Assembly:
10/10 I was expecting the legs to be crappy like the AT-TE Legs were but no these are nice and sturdy and hook in well, the ease of Assembly with this I also liked as well, quick snap in assembly you can assemble this thing in less than maybe 2 minutes.
Appearance:
10/10 Looks spot on with the Walkers, and this thing if you were by some chance to get 3 of em together that'd be perfect for recreating the Battle of Hoth. And not to mention it just looks IMPRESSIVE to say the least fully assembled!
Collection Addition:
10/10 A MUST HAVE for any Star Wars Fan, especially if you like Empire Strikes Back, if you have the Previous releases of the AT-AT, the Vintage,Power of the Force and SAGA releases it will add NICELY to that collection. Lots of play features too so it makes a good reason to stock up on Snowtroopers and to get a Snowspeeder to take it on.
-Now if only Hasbro would release a Modern Hoth Echo Base Playset!
There will be more pics when the POTF2 Walker gets here for a comparison review,so keep tuned to this thread.
