Red Skull changed reality with Kobik, so everything prior to that point is still valid, Cap never been "alway a nazi".
The story line is still going, it's a bit early to say if the whole thing will be "beyond stupid", I don't know, maybe the resolution will be, but so far I think it's an interesting read.
