No worries, man. Like most other people, I'm teaching myself this as I go on. Everything I do is a combo of luck, intuition and experimentation. I've no formal picture taking training, and it shows, I think. I allow the feedback of others, or absence of such, to teach me what I do well and what I do poorly.

Unfortunately, my camera doesn't have a wide angle lens (at least I don't think so). This forces me to have to pan too far back to take a photo that captures everything. Above all other elements, posing is my forte (what I enjoy most about the "process") and those elements get lost the further you are from the subject matter. I realized this some time ago when VonPooten offered similar thoughtful critiques to those that you've shared, expressing that he felt cheated out of some of the action on display. That was when I started taking multiple cropped photos from various angles to hit "hot spots" within a display and highlight some of the meticulous work that goes into the creation of convincing poses.

I've many limitations; formalized technical skills, space, pro lights, picture editing software, and a "real" camera. However, I've always said I wasn't going to let not having those things stop me from snapping photos. And I've been able to pull off some successful things with my low-tech guerilla shoots. I've been regarded as professional in some overly gushing compliments, and while I appreciate the love, I also find it hilarious because I am most definitely NOT a pro...and I don't present myself as one. All of this is practice and unlike Alan Iverson, I love to practice things!...pardon the NBA reference.

With all of that in mind, I thank you for your feedback...truly...and I'm happy that you enjoy what I put together. Eventually, I'll own a non twenty dollar decade plus old camera and I will construct a proper space for photos. But even when that happens, there will be many imperfections in my pics...and quite honestly, I prefer it that way. Some pics I see on the internet (of anything, not just toys) are too perfect. The slight patina of "flaws" can sometimes provide character to an image. We live in a world rife with air-brushing and artifice, which in turn creates a falseness within some artistic expression IMO. But I'm sort of an "out of time - out of place" personality in many aspects as it pertains to modern life.

...sorry for the long response, but if you say something well thought out...I (usually) return the favor!
I sure hope nothing will stop you, you clearly enjoying doing these scenes, & you have your own style, maybe I'll call it "raw" (compared, say, to what Advocate Pinoy & the A.C.B.A guys are doing).
I also hope you can get a better camera, but probably with 8 new Marvel Legends waves every years, Hasbro won't let you. We all have budget limitations!!
