This has been the one aspect where the MCU has failed if you ask me. Agents of Shield has especially failed at this, and it feels like it's own entity, as opposed to running along side by side with the MCU. I mean, shouldn't Coulson have appeared by now in one of the MCU films since, at least to say hi to his friends who probably still think he's dead? The MCU connection was why I started watching AoS in the first place and the lack of that same MCU outside of the occasional rrference has been the reason I have since tuned out.

Yeah man thats is exactly what im talkin about! That Daredevil spotting Spiderman was what i was wanting to see the whole time that would be awesome and I wonder why Coulson hasn't been in a Single MCU Movie since avengers it doesn't make sense. Especially since they killed him off then he is back alive so he should be thrilled to get back to the Avengers but hasn't yet. And he was Actually a Great character in the Avengers
