The funny part is Abnett and Lanning had a whole plot line that would have brought Nova and Star Lord back but Marvel pulled them off the books instead of letting them continue even though their books were doing very well.

Nova and Gamora was a very interesting relationship and even Bendis used it when he had Gamora force Quill to tell her what happened. A lot of Gamora's attitude toward relationships since then really seemed to stem from her loss of Rich.
