Finally got this bad boy open. It's perfect. Tight joints, no paint flaws, stuck joints, or quality control issues whatsoever...well, I'm having trouble getting the wrist blades in and out, but I'm fine with that. I might use a hair dryer later to loosen 'em up, but I actually like how they're extended at the moment. I noticed that the self destruct door IS rather delicate so I was VERY careful when taking the figure out of the package, and I had no problems. But yeah, watch that thing.
Side-by-side with the original 2-pack City Hunter, the paint scheme on the Ultimate is so much more vibrant and the added articulation makes all the difference. And I love the addition of the detachable net gun on his calf and the plasma flechette gun on his wrist (the thing he shot Danny Glover with after his plasma caster was destroyed). The plasma firing effect is fun, too (and doesn't weigh down the gun, either).
I like the addition of the unmasked head, but I'm having him rock the bio-mask right now.
Overall, awesome, awesome figure. Couldn't be happier, and totally worth the upgrade from the original. Just make sure you look through them all before you pick one, as there are QC issues going on with some of them.

Oh, man...you and me both, brother. Sadly, it'll probably never happen.
