Not lose.... the contract ends. That is NOT to say it cannot be renewed or even has already. They have not mentioned it again.

As to the "how" part, it was printed in their report about four years ago. I follow the capitol side of toy manufacturing as well. It has been documented and linked here in this forum several years ago... the truth IS out there. Also, a little google-fu and one could read through tonnes of financial mumbo jumbo and find it their self. The "rights" to manufacture a license in a scale isn't open ended and does come to end to be renewed or shopped.

Judging by the time line... I would guess in 2009 they signed a ten year deal that ends ten years later 2018. I jumped on board in 2012 after AVENGERS ASSEMBLE so I don't about the years prior, but since 2013 I have followed and read everything they release into the investment side. It is all published publicly and free to search. Hasbro even have a link to the documentation side of it on the Hasbro.com website.

Enough about the nerdy financial side.... I took some screen shots of the new 48" Spider-Man NYC playset. The one with 5 levels of play, should work well for our scale with only a few things looking too large. Excited to see some pics of it when available. I am a sucker for a gigantic playset that I have both no earthly use for or even a place to keep it... that said, it will most likely be bought on site!
