You are correct, I thought a free figure seemed far too good to be true! But hey, they can probably afford it at nearly a million bucks.

I bought the Dwarven King anyway, really hoping I'm not gonna regret that as we've seen very little of the figure. It seemed like something I'd want seeing as how I own the other Dwarves.

I got Azza Spiritbender, Gwendolynne Heavensbrand, King Ironjaw, Knubnik, and Jjuno. I'll probably add a Shadow Elf and a Goblin army builder or two once the backerkit stuff happens.
