I didn't say they had to be hard plastic, I just don't want cloth. The DC Icons capes are a soft rubber, which is perfect.

I don't care what it would be in real life, I want it to look stylized on when I have the figure posed.

I've yet to see a 6 inch toy with a cloth cape that doesn't look cheap.

Hell, Hasbro's Star Wars figurs pretty much highlight everything wrong with cloth stuff on a toy. The figures look terrible. It's looks like they are trying to wear clothes that are two sizes bigger than their bodies.
