Heck, I only saw part of the Sandman wave there only once, and that was before Christmas. Maybe you would fare better at the Overland Park TRU in your quest for Groot?

I actually live up north and usually stop by the TRU at 169 and Barry Rd. They have a peg for the Exclusive Groot but it's just got the regular Guardians wave on it. I did stop by the TRU on Nolan Rd. On my way to a hockey game last week and it was just as bad as the one on by me. I think guys who stock shelves there intercept exclusives like this and sell them on ebay to supplement their income. Every time I ask someone they never seem to know what I'm talking about and don't seem to care. If it weren't for exclusives like this, I wouldn't even bother going in there.

I have had luck at the TRU across from Oak Park Mall but it's an hour round trip for me to drive there. I have tried to call and ask about certain items in the past, like the 7 inch Neca Chris Reeve Superman, and they're never any help. It's just a job to them and they don't know or care about store exclusives. I understand they probably don't get paid enough to give a crap about whether some grown man gets the action figures that he wants.
