You could try, but it wouldn't be a good fit. The scales between the X3 Colossus and the new one are vastly different. The new one is much bulkier, so I doubt you would be able to peg the arms in without some major modifications.

I have both, but I don't have access to them atm since my son is in bed and the bins are in his room, but I can post a side by side tomorrow if you'd like the reference...
