Today I got the new DC Icons Deathstroke from my lcs, I had to call and ask them to hold one for me and good thing I did because they got cleared out of the rest. They also had Wonder Woman and Cyborg and I was told they had Swamp Thing and Static Shock but those were bought up. Overall I think it's an awesome figure but it isn't without some gripes: as I've almost always felt DCC figures tend to be overpriced and the Icons line is no exception, and his pistol doesn't really fit in the holster. To be clear the pistol does sit in the holster but not very snugly and there were a number of things they could have done to fix this as it is very easy to have the gun fall out while messing with the figure. Other than those complaints some little paint issues are all that's wrong with Deathstroke. I really like how they handled his blue scale mail parts, it reminds me of how Hasbro actually recently handled their 6" Hobgoblin, and the heads are both very nicely sculpted. His sword and staff are both good although it can be a bit of a tight fit the first time you get him to hold the staff. The guns are both alright but I think they'd have benefited from more paint or maybe just being a darker color than the staff. It's good to have a nice, classic Deathstroke finally join my collection even if he doesn't really scale with anything else DCC has done.
Also here Slade is with his Marvelous knockoff
