I have been putting a lot of effort into hunting— blood, sweat, and tears. I don't need someone implying my efforts suck or to stop "freaking out about this wave". That wasn't nice to say/a respectful way of saying that either.

If saying I don't understand why your freaking out about this wave with examples of why you shouldn't be isn't a nice or respectful thing to say then you must get your feeling hurt an awful lot.
