GI Joe was getting some awesome figures at the peak of MU and now they just repaint into oblivion. How'd they honor the 50'th anniversary of GI Joe??? Lame repaints. You can't even find GI Joe in most stores anymore, and that was a absolute staple of the 1:18 scale.

Honestly I just wish they'd be done and cancel the line. The one or two sort of decent figures we get a year don't even come close to making up for the heartbreak after heartbreak that they keep puking out.

If I had even had any inclination to collect Legends (6 inch) before, the utter disrespect that they've shown us 1:18 guys stamped that right out. I would have respected it more if they just canceled the line and said we're moving to six inch. Instead they lied to everyone saying "we're changing the name of the line to infinite but you'll still get all the same articulation you know and love." And then preceded to puke out turd after turd that aren't worth the plastic they're made out of.

We got a couple good figures out of infinite, but the abominations they keep producing in the legends line is embarrassing. Grab up all the fodder you can and get to customizing or comissioning if you want any more quality MU figures.

If you want 90's Storm, make one or get one made, you'd be disappointed with whatever crap plie they decide to try to heave upon you anyway.

yup the line got a lot of shit from a bunch of legends collectors, which was heavily unjustified but not all legends collectors hated the line.Dave vonner leaving hasbro also contributed to the troubles and he was the one who made the line possible to begin with.i think sales have also been an issue, legends has always had a solid fanbase right back to the toybiz days.also the lack of a voice at cons, legends collectors are more interactive with hasbro employees,i dont think ive seen 3.75" collectors at sdcc or nycc hammering hasbro with questions.ive definitely heard legends collectors ask questions about 3.75" though.

The Shocker set was really just comparing minor paint details but with the Vulture set some of the Spider-Man's knees looked like he was late on a payment and Vulture let him know. They had a full case out I guess, 4 of the Vulture set and 2 of the Shocker.
I'll start with the movie set. Yay more MCU figures in this scale! The Spidey has pretty good articulation but his elbow hinges are kinda small which worried me a bit at first and then his knee connector pieces are gummy-feeling. These don't feel like major issues though, nothing ruining here. The paint is pretty on par for this size, some bleeding of red onto black or blue onto red but nothing damning. Vulture is the big draw of this set and while not accurate it's still a cool toy. His wings actually are pretty much the exact same size as Falcon's which is weird because they looked smaller in pics and even in the box. Also like Falcon's wings they have the feature where you can hinge one wing up and down and the other matches it.

So they aren't terribly small for the toy but compared to how big they are in the movie they're definitely not in scale. His head of course then isn't like the one in the movie at all but after messing around with him for a while it's still a neat head, but an accurate head would've been cooler. Pretty similar articulation to Spidey but no torso joint and overall not as much range. His paint is a lot cleaner though. Cool set.
Now on to the comic set. Shocker is just on the same under-articulated body as Living Laser (and others) so he can't strike too many cool shocking poses but he can do some stuff. The colors are all good but the application is a little lazy looking. The grid pattern is off on some parts or just incomplete at other sections. Honestly though given the size it's a good job. Best for last though, this is the comic Spidey we've been waiting for. His colors are the right red and blue, his paint apps are for the most part clean, and he's on the body that made this line's articulation awesome. Overall this Spidey is awesome and sells this set on his own with the Shocker just feeling like a welcome bonus since he hasn't been in this line before. Again, cool set.
Thanks for that review and the comparison pics en sabah! im surprised to see the vulture wings are the same size as falcons.and im looking forward to adding another 3 spideys to my "council of spideys" set up
