Noooo! Where do these rumours come from? I collected PAK back in the day and not all figures were small. The MGS line was larger than these new figures, but were 1/3 rd the price. The quality control was just as good as it is today. In fact, the level of QC made sense in the past for the price. But now, you have very expensive figures with almost no accessories, and QC that is not good enough for the price.

Not to mention, they have made some major blunders on the new figure designs ( an obvious one would be Arkham Knight Batgirl)

So yea, I would like to see the line go back to what it was.
