As a long term gamer - my first systems were the 2600 followed by the Sega Master system...I had a friend that actually owned Pong - I've learned that serving the 'hardcore' fan isn't a winning business proposition. There aren't enough of we hardcore anythings; the profit margin is actually in the causal fan whose numbers dwarf ours. In the case of toys, the casual fans are children exposed to the MCU, parents who're catering to the wants of their children, and the marginally aware semi-fan who has to look up any character outside of the most familiar mainstays. The hook for the casual fan is the MCU and ANYTHING that feeds back into that revenue stream is gravy to Marvel/Disney. Get over it, MCU figs are here to stay. Hell, we're lucky they even provide us with comic canon figs given that the comics are essentially a fiscal afterthought when you directly compare the dollars generated.

what does that have to do with MARVEL LEGENDS being MCU only product? yea i know that movies have merc duh, but it doesnt mean the merc only comes from one line and only one , marvel legends is not for movie figures only so all that crap you wrote doesnt make any sense. there are other lines to push out movie figures, and still has nothing to do with why ML choose to put known comic book heroes vs movie back ground characters , with no proof that they are more then that, not saying that later they shouldnt be made but without knowing about the characters they will be peg warmers.
