Thinkgeek store paid off for me which is nice since it's technically way out of my local area. I put my thoughts on Qui-Gon in the Star Wars thread but overall I like it. Rorschach is an alright figure but he has some notable issues for me. Nothing is really wrong with the figure on its own, the paint apps are nice and clean and everything moves okay albeit a little limited by his coat. However Mattel seems to have made some weird decisions with his accessory and figure size. So his one accessory is his grapple line launcher gun thing but Mattel made it ridiculously oversized, it almost seems like it was intended for a 1:6 scale figure. So that just looks goofy in his hands. I wound up giving him the butcher knife that came with the NECA ultimate part 4 Jason because it fits in his hand pretty well and it looks nice with him. The other issue is that Mattel made Rorschach really tall especially when put next to the other Watchmen figures. He's depicted to be a little shorter than most of the other guys in the comics and then when he's arrested the cops refer to him as being a runt because he wears elevator shoes to appear taller. So how comes it then that his figure is taller than Dr Manhattan or The Comedian? Maybe Mattel made Rorschach with a 7" scale in mind? Probably not since he's mostly just re-used parts from the Mattel Question figure (how appropriate). Still I'm glad I was able to find him since none of the Gamestops in my area have any of them except Ozymandias and Silk Spectre.
