Back when we got our information from magazines like Tomart's, we were told outright the most expensive part of the process was making the mold. This explained why Kenner did so many rainbow Batmen. More recently during the DCIH run, Toyguru said that the mold making and paint app processes cost the same. If that is the case, why are we still getting so many "rainbow superheroes?"
