Thanks for the words, friend! I do hope that I've at least inspired others who haven't done so to design and build whatever toy they've been dreaming about building. Lots of the methods I used and wrote about for this U-Wing come from old-school techniques that were used for building architecture models or toy prototypes. In fact, I would say this U-Wing was designed and built similarly to the way prototypes for the Kenner Star Wars vehicles (i.e. the X-Wing, the TIE Fighter) were built.

And I emphasized using only materials that are throwaway (cardboard boxes, cereal/snack boxes, toothpicks, coffee cup sleeves, yogurt cups, etc.) to show that you don't need to use expensive materials at all.

I did notice how big the Kylo figure looks when seated in the TIE Silencer. He looks like an adult riding a kiddie go-cart, ha.
