Even on a plain background photo it takes alot of time and effort, for me anyway, to pose the figure(s), set the shot up, get the lighting right, and then do some back end editing. And I've also spent some money on backgrounds, dios and other stuff in an effort to make my pictures look better.

I mean, every photo needs some back end processing if you want it to look more than just like you whipped your phone out and snapped a pic. But people who were/do doing/do that would get more appreciation, comments, likes than I would.

I know it's trivial to say this, and I come off sounding like a little b, but to go through the effort that I do, whether it looks like I did or not, and then get one if any comments on what I just did is disheartening. Especially considering some people never post any pictures at all.

i feel what you're saying.....and I've felt that way before also. It would be cool to have a "LIKE" button here for that reason. (at least i think).
Better in cases where. i see your stuff..and it looks cool. But nothing i felt i needed to comment on. Compare that to like IG or other forums where you can just click a lil like button..
You do tend to want a little recognition for the work you put in....EVEN IF IT'S JUST LIKES!! ;O)
