And since Diamond Select is planning on tackling the Jaegers from the first movie anyone up for some new versions of Crimson Typhoon or Cherno Alpha (NECA's attempt was great, but those hip joints on Cherno bugged me. They stuck out too far compared to the movie model.)

I'd also like to see a Diamond Select rendition of Raiju, Karloff and Meathead or even a Build-A-Kaiju Slattern! The last one may just be a pipe dream though.
Cherno Alpha was possibly my favorite jaeger (that or Coyote Tango) and I really like NECA's figure but yeah the hips stick out way more than they did in the movie. Maybe this was a deliberate inaccuracy, like they tried doing it with accurate hips but in figure format there wasn't range of motion.

I'm sad we didn't get a Karloff from NECA, I just dig the design and he would have been a nice, smaller kaiju.

Tacit Ronin was just poorly designed by Neca at it's ankle joints. They are too thin to withstand moving them. Their Ultimate Gispy Danger is to date, the worst defective action figure buying experience I have ever encountered. It's one thing to have something wrong with a figure, but 10 things!?!?! That's unheard of. I swore off buying any more of their past Pacific Rim figures after that ordeal. Bandai, other Japanese companies, and DST all the way for me baby! From my personal experience, Neca had it's shot and failed miserably. It didn't have to be that way, but that's what happens when you don't extend the quality and care found in your sculpts into the durability of your products.
I don't blame you for giving up on the line, it seems in retrospect that the line was almost always struggling with sales so NECA allocated more resources to the lines that were proven successes (Alien, Predator, and horror figures mainly) and sort of let PR fade, this is just conjecture. Personally I love the NECA Otachi though, mine's perfect and a figure of that size from any Japanese company would probably run close to the $120 mark instead of $65.
