The DST one's have a much better paint job, they are larger, and are about $5 cheaper. They are $15 cheaper ($15 total) if you buy the Toys R' Us verison with less accessories.

Bandai probably has articulation going for it. Smaller size could be a plus if you like that.

Both seem to have ample accessories if that pic ot DT's Gypsy Avenger is any indication. Both are apparently going fairly deep in the line, Bandai has solicited 6 robots and one Kaiju. DST has solicited 3 robots, and shown one kaiju, as well as anounced 2 more Robots, and said they'll make robots from the first movie and make more kaiju.

DST figures are usually pretty durable. I am not sure about Bandai's at this pricepoint, but I think they should be fine. One person at NYCC said Bandai had a touch and paly even and that the Gypsy Avenger figure he messed with seemed nice, but the hips were loose. He also said that the DST versions were probably more in line with NECA's offering size wise (if someone wanted to continue that collection).

They both have thier pro's and cons. Perssonally I like the looks of DST's much better. I'm going to buy those, and I may buy the Bandai too for those figures I want better articulation for if I find DST's too be too lacking. Figures like Athena who probably should be very well articulated, and any figures who one company or the other does not make.

Comparing Kaiju, DST's looks better to me.
