I think sculpt-wise, the MJ head may be the closest representation of Boom Boom's hair from the Nextwave series. If you're going for cheap and easy, there's always the Mockingbird head sans glasses. Not an exact match, but close and no paint needed.

Gah, hate it when that happens!! When I opened up the DP 2-pack, I set that extra head aside for this. Luckily, I haven't lost it...yet!
