Or not, because not everyone collects the way you do or has the same price tolerance as you. I happen to think that PAK's are hilariously overpriced even if I buy them from Japan. Doesn't matter if I pre-order them or not.

You assume people wait until the figure is released, when in reality they think the price is too much when they see the figure being put up for pre-order. The problem is not aftermarket prices.

Not all items "skyrocket" in price. Look at all the Figuarts, Mafex figures etc. that are still in stock at multiple Japanese retailers and are still available for low prices. And lets not even get into the secondary market.

If a character is popular then yeah, chances are the figure will sell out and is then only available for a markup. But saying that "ALL Prices will Sky Rocket" is complete crap, and masquerading that nonsense behind a confident "EVERY good Collector KNOWS" is rather annoying.

I think I know what's going on now. You shop at Nippo-Yasan. That place is known for being scalpers. After the release of a popular item, they often offer the rest of their stock with an absurd markup to catch unknowing collectors. Is that what you think always happens? Logical conclusion, but not almost every person on the planet wants these, not every character is equally popular and not every figure sells out. Eventually, they do because the stock is limited, but then they'll just do another figure of the character or straight-up reissue the old one.

It is really easy, as long as you keep Track of the Comic Con Pictures here at Toyark,
watch the Prototype on Pictures, and then wait for the Pre Order Offers at your Vendor.

Some People here say, that Collecting Figures in overall is an almost Impossible task, because of the Price.
It is not, as long as you are fast enough on hitting the Pre Order and Pay Button

I mean that's solid advise but again, people don't have problems with the aftermarket prices, they think the figures are too expensive now.
