Not Marvel Legends, but still related, I thought I would drop a little mini review with some pics for one of the weapon sets floating around on eBay in case any of you are wondering how they might work out.

I saw this particular set on eBay from a Chinese seller, and since I'm always on the lookout for armory since most of the better casters were given the old cease and desist from Hasbro this past year, I said why not. This particular set comes with five assault rifles which to the best of my knowledge are from left to right:
  1. Browning M1918
  2. G3A3 Battle Rifle
  3. M4 Carbine
  4. G36C Assault Rifle
  5. H&K MP5 Submachine Gun

The first things I should mention, is that although many of the Chinabay sellers listing this and others like it are saying that they are ML scaled, these weapons are actually just a tad bit larger than they should be, putting them more in scale with NECA's 7" offerings than ML's 6inch scale. They can be fudged though quite easily with some of the characters on the larger bodies (Hyperion mold) and work decent enough with the larger male body (Grim Reaper/Walgreens Punisher.) The weapons themselves are made of a solid black plastic, with no paint details, but they can be easily tinkered with some dry brushing to bring out them out, and they are quite sturdy. None of mine came to me warped, bent or floppy. Most of them have triggers square in the middle of the trigger guard though, which I had to mod by cutting them off with an exacto knife as the triggers were interfering with many of my figures abilities to hold them. Here are some pics on how they work out with certain figures

Browning M1918: Works best with larger bodied ML figures, though the large backstock gets in the way for shoulder firing. Works best when tucked under the arm.

G3A3: Also works best with larger bodied ML figures. Works VERY well on most Hyperion based characters like Nuke and the Hydra Brute.

M4: Laughably oversized, I had a hard time finding a character that it works well with. Thank goodness for Crossbones. Would probably look good in a properly sized Executioner's hand...if we had one.

G36c: Also laughably oversized, but it does work rather well with both the larger bodied figures like Punisher. Also works well with figures that has butterfly joints, like Bullseye here

H&K MP5
A bit difficult to get firing from the shoulder thanks to the large backstock, but it does do well when tucked under the arm and can be held with both hands that way. Works with most Legends figure body types.

It wasn't a perfect purchase, but it was a relatively inexpensive one and I'm pleased with them for the most part, especially since I was finally able to find a decent weapon for Nuke. Adding to Crossbones already limited armory options is always a plus as well. Hopefully this helps you guys out.
