At least it does confirm some of the stuff with the Life Foundation, as you can clearly see more than one Symbiote. Way too early to judge, but what I saw mostly was a generic action flick with a lot of Brock running.

Glad that Sony is not just revealing everything at the moment, but there was also no payoff to that trailer as well. It would have at least been nice to have gotten a tease akin to what we received with the Spider-Man 3 trailers, where we saw Venom without actually seeing Venom. It is possible to at least reveal your main character without giving away plot points.
