This is the type of statue that makes me wonder who collects this stuff lol. I mean how many people thought when they saw the scene that they needed a statue of it??? Is it an epic scene? Nope! Was it a developed character? Nope! It’s just a statue of a sick animal that likely didn’t even look like that in real life.
I think you misunderstand the meaning of collecting high-end statues and dioramas. It’s not all about one set of characters necessarily, although I would venture to say that the dinosaurs in the Jurassic films are characters themselves. Memorable scenes are definitely important to lovers of any film and are avenues for development, hence the sick triceratops. Not only was it a great display of just how real Stan Winston could make these things, it was the world’s first up-close and personal view of a dinosaur in this movie - a movie that changed film and special effects forever, by the way.
Anyway...I’m not going to waste any more time on explaining the validity of a scene like this, because from your post you have no clue as to why someone would want it and furthermore why we don’t care if they looked like that in real life. You’re so far off the mark it makes me question why you bothered to sign up for a Collectibles site.
Just some thoughts.
