Truthfully, I haven't. The last superhero film I saw in the movie theaters was Homecoming, which I was dragged to. It was alright. Had Michael Keaton not been as awesome as he was though, I would have hated it.

Here is what I skipped out on at the movies:

GoTG Vol 2, Dr. Strange, Civil War, Justice League, Wonder Woman, X-men Apocalypse, Logan, TMNT OotS, Deadpool, Ragnarok, Ant Man, Suicide Squad, F4ntastic, Lego Batman, the last two Transformers films and a few others I'm sure I'm forgetting. Unless I am dragged to it, I most likely won't be seeing Black Panther. Venom I do have a admittedly biased interest, as he is one of my favorite characters of all time, however that teaser trailer did no favors to help my curiosity.

While I have missed many of these films in the theaters, I have caught up with a bunch of them. I have a wife who still enjoys them, and a young child at home as well. Many of these films are also on Netflix or have since debuted on television as well, so I've caught them at some point. Put they no longer peak the "must see" part of my brain. If I had to pick one that I liked the most, it would probably be Lego Batman. That flick was so off the wall, and the musical number at the end was the shit...

I agree 100% with you on Cage.
I agree 100% wiht you on Iron Fist (unwatchable)
I don't agree with you on Defenders. I actually though it was so-so at best. It felt rushed and it felt like they used "normal Television writing and action" instead of the formulas that made Daredevil great. (It felt far removed from the way DD was filmed and written)
I loved Defenders, but mostly because for the first time in the Netflix universe, it actually all felt connected. The show had fewer episodes, which helped with the pacing of the story, and it was fun seeing these characters Netflix has spend the last two years building interact. Elektra was awesome. Plus...less of Claire.

My only real gripe was how The Hand was turned from ancient ninja clan into multinational terrorist/"second coming of Hydra" organization.

Honestly while i watched all the netflix marvel shows. To me personally only daredevil and punisher were the best ones. Luke cage was decent, iron fist was ehhh, Jessica jones whatever, and defenders decent.
I thought Bernthal's Punisher was on point in DD season 2, but was WAY off point in his own series. He was whiny, boring, and too bleeding heart. For a character who is most commonly associated with being a lone wolf, he carried on way too many relationships. The forced romantic elements from Karen and Micro's wife were bad as well. I'll be castrated for saying this for sure, but Bernthal's Punisher ended up making Lundgren look like DeNiro in the Godfather 2.

The show itself was a confused mess of agendas as well as they tried to tackle everything from PTSD to gun control. Madani was beautiful to look at, but the show spent too much time with her, and ultimately, there wasn't a whole lot of punishing criminals with the show. Actually, outside the last two or three episodes, there wasn't a lot of action period...

I felt the story arc leading up to Jigsaw's origin was good, but that was about it.

Don't get me started on the ending...

It's cool if you liked it, but what I wanted was something more on key with Garth Ennis's Punisher run. Instead we ended up with something far more weak.

On a final thought, I've been screaming for Blade to be rebooted into the MCU for years on this forum. Under careful consideration though, it has to be someone other than Wesley Snipes. Wesley was fantastic, but he's also pushing 60 years old. Like many other action stars his age, it's starting to show. I'd like to see them bring in someone fresh, (preferably a British actor, since Blade speaks with a British accent in the comics.) Keep Wesley in tow though with a major supporting role...(maybe as a re-imagined Whistler or better yet, Jamal Afari, who was Blade's original mentor in the comics.)

Wesley as a re-imagined Deacon Frost? It's a pipe dream, given Wesley's supposed ego and eccentricities, but come on...how bad ass would THAT be?
