Thanks for the write up. I wasn't sure if some of the reviewers were being overly critical of this set because it wasn't as good as the new Ghost Rider or if there were some genuine problems so it was nice to hear from both of you. I'm going to wait several months before I pick up this version of Widow so that I can get her on sale.
Not a problem. Don't let anyone's opinion poop on your desire to get the figure. I always tend to rag on figures a bit, but the truth is, I love this hobby and I'm passionate about it, and I'll call a spade a spade if I see it. I watch and read a lot of figure reviews on YouTube, and I often find myself questioning the motives of the reviewers, because you have so many that see things in rose tints, while others record 10 minute videos where they say absolutely nothing but "it's cool," or "awesome fig!" which is even more concerning when you can see things blatantly wrong or defective with the figure in the video!

Right now, as far as I'm concerned, this is the best BW to date...but with as much press and adoration the character has received over the years, I just expected a bit more. I'm hoping that Hasbro can iron out the kinks with this body mold, because it's would be one of their better female ones if it just didn't have that ugly seam running straight down the entire body of the figure. I want an updated Sharon Carter on this thing!

Be careful not to wait too long...the price on her could actually go up if this set proves hard to find. I remember waiting on the Black Series Biker Scouts to go down in price so I could army build, but all that ended up happening was people just ditching the speeder, then asking what they paid for the set for JUST the one scout. People are already starting to repeat this trend with Widow. Do a general Ebay search...you'll see.

I'm not sure how comfortable you are with modding your figures, but if you place a drop of Krazy Glue on the back of the neck where the joint is, and work the joint back and forth, the glue will cure a bit causing it to tighten up. I did this tonight and Nat is no longer in need of a posture collar. Just be sure to keep moving the neck as it dries, otherwise, you could end up with a stuck joint.

Be sure to do it on the back of the neck! That way the hair will cover where the glue was placed, which will draw less attention to it, and will allow you to look at it without it driving you crazy.

Nearly 100 percent sure it's the Bucky Cap mold, but I'll be honest, I'm too lazy to dig the figure out of my bin right now at the moment. But the pics on MarvelLegends.net scream Bucky Cap.
