I totally would be up for that as well! As much fun as those Accoutrements figures are, they are too plastic and cheap looking (and too small for my usual 7" scale)
I don't know if you know the Table Museum line from Figma? I have their Thinker, David, Venus and the angels. There are also others in this line. Not exactly historic figures, but still great fun to pose.

Yes, I love the little chain the easel has! You can fold up the Accoutrements one as well, but it has no chain. And their paintings are only printed cardboards. This one has a real picture frame at the back, even though the painting is unfinished. I guess it would be easy to print some more.
The one thing I regret that you cannot close the lid of the paint box. And you can't take off his brush and color palette, they are glued.

I don't suppose the words "Don't panic" are printed on the back cover?
No, nothing on the back, but again, it should be easy to customize a small version for your needs? There are dollhouse tutorials on youtube, and lots for small books.

Albino Bowler (?), Alexander the Great, Anne Bonny, Annie Oakley, Barista, Big Foot, Big-Lo Superfan (??), Blackbeard the Pirate, Carl Jung, Crazy Cat Lady (one day I am going to get her), Fuzz the Hipster (???), Houdini, J.P. Patches, Jane Austen, Bach, male nurse, Marie Antoinette (with ejecting head!), Obsessive Compulsive (????), Oscar Wilde, Pope Innocent III, Remote Control Zombie (?????), Seth Godin Marketing Guru (??????), Sigmund Freud, Superfan (?????????), Super-Mom (I actually like her!) - AND:

The Waitress. Which I got for no particular reason a few weeks ago, and in last week's Gotham episode Alfred fell in love with a waitress. And I knew why I had bought her.

She wears sensible shoes, and has a magnet in her hand to hold the tablet. There are two different plates, one with hamburgers and fries, and one with breakfast - eggs, sausage, toast, and are those pancakes?
