So I've been putting this off a bit, so here's my thoughts and things I noticed with the Lizard wave...

  1. Prowler: This was the character I was most excited to receive, but was let down the most by. I'm not sure what it is about it, but the whole figure feels really off. The head is too big, the reused Moon Knight cape was clearly the wrong choice (as the collar covers half of the face when pegged on,) and the mold they chose is really unflattering. It looks like Prowler is out and about in some loosely fitted pajamas. I like the new claw hands (and wish they were used with Lasher,) but the wrist bracelets fit really loose on my Prowler, and throws the look off a bit. I also wish that Hasbro would stop being so cheap, and just sculpt the cuffs on the boots already. I have managed to get them to stay up like they should, but now they restrict the calf rotation a little bit. On the plus side, this head will become a base for MANY a Spawn custom in the near future. Other than that, I feel really unfulfilled, and I know that this is it for him, because we are getting not one, but TWO Hobie Brown figures in a single wave. Prowler is a character I've been waiting for the Legends treatment patiently since I sold off my entire collection of Fox Animated figures, and this one is just not as cool as that original one...

  2. Spider-Woman: I like the sculpt, and the colors...they really pop, and mine had great line work. The head sculpt is a pretty one as well, though I thought it actually looks more Asian than Caucasian, meaning that I think the head is actually a better fit for Silk, and maybe even a future Colleen Wing figure. Outside of that, there's not much else I can say. No accessories hurt it, and the fact that the figure is also on a smaller body mold than the previous Spider-Woman is a bit jarring to me. Also, as nice as the head is, it's undersized for the Moonstone body, meaning it doesn't quite look right as an unmasked portrait on the Thanos wave Spider-Woman figure. That more than anything made me just kinda shrug this one off...

  3. Spider-Punk: What....the....****. I know this is an actual Spider-Verse character...but I can't help but feel like I'm looking at one of those bad, gimmick themed Spidey figures from ToyBiz's SMC line. Or Johnny Napalm from Guitar Hero in a special, Spidey themed, DLC outfit. Still, I'll give some credit, I like the guitar hands (which work with most Pizza Spidey bodies btw) and he's rocking some cool kicks. Take off the vest, and the costume looks pretty cool as well, and he has the closest thing to calf rotation that we have gotten on a Spider-Man figure in a LONG time. He also looks great on just about any Legends scale musical instrument you can find, and can strike some pretty epic and fun poses. I might just go looking for the drum set to my old McFarlane KISS figures, because he'd be perfect for it. The thing I like most though I have to say, is the vest he's wearing. It's OUTSTANDING! Sculpted well, with a superb amount of detail, and I really dig the patch on the back. I actually had a vest JUST LIKE THIS back in high school...

I'll stop here for fear of this post being too long, but I'll be covering the others next go around...
