Would sand paper be the best way to make the ball smaller? Or something else.
You could use sandpaper, or if you are steady handed enough, an art knife to shave down the ball a bit.

I advise against this though, unless you have no plans on using the body with any other figures. Building up the neck joint is much more difficult and complicated than having to sand one down, so it can a bit of work trying to undo what you have done if you desire a change for your figure.

I would do this, 1000x. If you don't have a dremel, seriously consider investing in one. You can use a drill bit to get rid of the excess, but for a minor job like that, I'll usually use a grinding bit, which can have the same effect of a sanding disc. They also won't wear away the head as quickly as a traditional sanding disk or drill bit will, making it easier to make adjustments.

A dremel is such a useful tool, and if you're into customizing your Legends to fit your needs, it will pay for itself a thousand times over when you find yourself happier with your figures.

Don't be scared boss. Any body who has taken a knife or some paint to their little 20 dollar canvases will tell you that **** happens from time to time, but that's how you learn and get better at it.

As long as you take your time dremeling the head, and do repeated fit tests, you won't ruin it, and even if you dremel the hole out a bit too much, there are still things you can do to correct it, such as adding crazy glue to the inside of the peg hole to build back up a base, or even something as simple as sticking a bit of paper towel in it to tighten the fit.

Oh, and wear eye protection. Seriously. Getting a piece of plastic or resin in your eyes is a bitch.

I'm glad that head worked out though...I told you he did good work! Whatever you do, show us how it came out!
