Word! OMG, enough with the awesome MU vehicles. You had me at "hello"!

Alternately, some small private companies could design some basic sets useable with multiple lines and become successful, as you would buy only as many pieces a you need. You would buy your Hasbro SHIELD agents and then your SHIELD HQ in pieces from and indie toy maker, cutting Hasbro out of the loop and forcing them to adapt to stay competitive.

CCC.
MU should have done stuff like this but they doubled down on questionable comic 2-packs.

Me too, but mostly I miss the old GIJoe vehicles. I don't know why romanticizing the military worked so well in the mid-80s but it did. I actually have a hard time envisioning a toy-version of the modern military.

They’re making hella profit on this one, and it’s up front! For all the people who complained about what loosing TRU will do to damage the toy industry, just wait and see if this trend catches on... “ just pledge 45$ and Neca will produce the perfect predator figure” or “ Mattel will do a full set of highly articulated 3.75 justice league figures... for your pledge of 800$” high end collecting will become relegated to the super rich, and the rest will have to settle for poorly articulated 5” crap.
I'm down for pre-funding any awesome toy.

Agree. If it comes as well painted as the one they put in the video, I think that's where a lot of your $500 went to.
