As some of you expected, I had to come in and remove just a ton of posts from the last 24+ hours. This is a message that was sent to some of you from the site owner Tony_Bacala after the last dust up. But I think is relevant now as well.

Now, these rules were written probably 15 years ago so it doesn't cover every single topic going on today.

Bottom line - anything that divides people in the current social-political landscape - keep that off this forum. If we need to spell it out, we can and put it in the rules, but I assume we are all adults and know whats up there.

This place is for toys, and the stuff around them. Comics, movies, etc. That may slide into this type of stuff because of what companies do with the properties, but even then, we should keep that off site.

Case in point, the nerf gun nonsense. If that's a Hasbro regular thing now due to PC - yes, stupid. But, even mentioning it triggers back and forth about everything else, which I don't want here. I would hope this place is a way to get away from that stuff, even for a little bit.

So, I'm asking you guys to think about this before you post. Guns, religion, Obama, tax cuts, Russia, Clinton Foundations, Trump, snowflakes and deplorables, MSNBC and FOX, all that, both sides - outta here.

It exists, it should be talked about, but not here. While here, we should all be toy brothers (and sisters?).

When this stuff does pop up, we will be deleting it. Initial post and the responses, regardless of sides. If you see stuff that you think falls under it, instead of responding, report it. We do read the reports each day.

If it repeatedly happens, we'll have to do the Modding thing, but I have no desire to go there.
