Again, I think the reason for it is more the lawsuit against Stan's business manager on charges of alleged elder abuse; Hasbro doesn't want to be seen as potentially benefitting someone who committed elder abuse against Stan Lee by selling a figure of him while said abuser still has control of Stan's likeness rights/merch rights/etc. and whatnot.
