Ah, the Mega Bloks! I bought all the sets. In fact, these are the first kind of sets I ever put together. I used to play with bricks that were similar to LEGO in my childhood, but after the wall came down I never bought complete sets. I rather use my own creativity you know? But it was great fun setting up this bridge!









Oh but you HAVE to watch the original! I insist! I hesitated for long, thinking it would only appeal to those that grew up with it and that it would look dated, but I fell in love very quickly. The chemistry between the three main actors is amazing.

And some of the messages are still true today. It's also funny because I had watched Stargate SG-1 first so some things reminded me of that when in truth it was paying homage of course.

Plus, looking at the technology, how much they predicted! Self-opening doors and flip-flop phones only were invented because those that watched it as a child grew up and got inspired.
