If we are using the argument that Hasbro is only pretending the Black Panther Legends sold well because of politics, that still wouldn't explain why they did a second wave when the white heroes generally haven't gotten those either.
Agreed. What makes me laugh is this claptrap being offered based on conjecture and opinion. No evidence. No facts. No sales data. No reporting. Just the "feeling" that a company would spend money paying people to remove items from the shelf and take them somewhere to hold, or I guess recycle (???) all for the purpose of promoting politics. That's rich. "Deep toy-state," right?

There is no business that I'm aware of that functions that way. And if there were, they'd be out of business pretty quickly. Funnier still is that when you offered two sources that supported and buttressed your opinion about BP wave sales (one of the articles being from Forbes), this guy refused to read it citing it as propaganda. I'm not certain how you declare something to be propaganda before even knowing what it says.

It's one thing to spout ill-conceived, uncorroborated nonsense from a place of general ignorance. Maybe you just aren't very well-read nor bright. No bigge, with work, we can all improve ourselves. However, when someone is presented with information that directly confronts the validity of their beliefs and they categorically refuse to digest it, well, that's when I start wondering about "propaganda" and hidden (not so hidden) "agendas."

Why interject skewed politics and flawed logic into something as innocuous and meaningless as toys and comics? The question's a rhetorical one, I fully understand why someone would behave in this manner. We (and by "we," I mean reasonable people of all stripes - liberal/moderate/conservative) have a serious problem brewing. This sickness of intolerance is growing...and it's becoming necessary to spot these faux arguments and see them for what they are: the "true" propaganda.

You want to present your thoughts, do so with factual aplomb. Because I'm actually openminded, I'll review whatever it is. But when all you can give me is anecdotal testimony, coupled with a resistance to digesting credible information, then I start looking at your agenda. (that "agenda" seems to rear its head every two months or so, here...and it's from the usual suspects)
