Alright, now that I'm sitting at my desktop PC, and have mulled over the reveals a bit, I can give my thoughts.

BP Wave II - I am not going to buy most of this wave, mostly because I'm a very selective MCU collector. That said, I still think the wave is fantastic, and really shows Hasbro's new commitment to getting more characters from the movies out there. Loving that we now actually have a Dora Milaje army-builder, a Tactical Killmonger for all the people who wanted one (with a head they can swap onto the previous Killmonger figure, if they're not buying the Killmonger/Ross pack), and Klaue. T'Chaka is one I'm on the fence about actually buying, because that design is slick as hell. And M'Baku as the BAF is a great choice... so I may need to see if I can get a built one for a decent price.

Toy Biz Vintage Wave II - Still not sure if these are called 'Retro' or 'Vintage' officially. Anyway. I am pleased with this, if only for the classic Vision and the Ant Man/Wasp figures. I would have hoped for some open hands on Vision... the rest of the wave is fine, but doesn't wow me. Not gonna be picking up Ben, and I'll probably pass on both T'Challa and Clint.

Avengers 2019 Wave - I may have to get Shuri, even sight unseen, because it's friggin' Shuri. Also, I am so down with that new Herc. I've never been a devoted Hercules fan, but I've always appreciated his presence in Avengers books (also, how can you go wrong with Thor's best rival/drinking buddy?). Genis-Vell looks phenomenal (I know he'll likely be in the Captain Marvel wave, but lumping him in here until otherwise known).

Spider-Man 2019/Kingpin Wave - FISK LOOKS FANTASTIC. Glad to see he's got alternate heads (I think they said three in the panel, though we've only seen the two), and his cane. I do hope they use the body to make an Amahl Farouk later on. Don't really care for the 'Modern Symbiote' figure. Red Goblin... don't know the storyarc, but I'm assuming he's a Carnage'd Osborn? He looks kinda cool, but not 'full price' cool for me. Black Cat's ANADM/Modern look is alright, but I'm not really feeling it. Silver Sable's deco is tight, though, and I'm all about adding her to the collection.

X-Men 2019 Wave - BLINK. I have been a fan of Blink since Age of Apocalypse, and she's been in my Top Five Favorite Marvel characters for that entire time. To have her announced overshadows everything else for me - not just Marvel Legends reveals, but EVERY toy reveal for the lines we collect. The only thing that could have been better would've been a Marrow announcement. The rest of the wave... I'm admittedly lukewarm on. Professor X is solid, and I'm assuming that the single-pack figure will be getting his standard wheelchair (especially since the reference image they used in the panel was from the original X-Men #1). Glad he's in the green suit. Skullbuster is an odd choice, though I get why they went with it, since he's a pretty straight repaint of Deathlok, and ya gotta milk those molds when you can, especially if they're mostly unique. I'm excited for the new Gambit, but I'm also hoping they either tweak the head or include an alternate head, because that thing is not aesthetically pleasing. Glad to hear about a new Forge, even if we didn't see him. As for the unrevealed BAF, I'm hoping that it's either the rumored Strong Guy, or the long-wanted Nimrod. Either way, the comment that they're "big, very big" from the panel gives me hope no matter who it ends up being.

Legendary Riders - Pass on Deadpool. It's cool, and nice of them to include Dogpool and Squirrelpool, but I'm not buying any more Wades unless absolutely necessary. But Hoverchair Xavier? You better friggin' believe it. I will double-dip on Chuck without hesitation.

Exclusives - I'm down for most of these. Not really caring about Ultron, but as usual, glad there's one for the people who need him in their collections. Also lukewarm (HA!) on the Luke and Claire pack. The Into the Spider-Verse set is cool, but lacking after seeing what Gwen and Miles look like in the film without their masks - would have liked some new unmasked heads there. But the rest? Sign me up. Glad we're seeing re-releases of both Archangel and Magik, as I'm not someone who can feel comfortable dropping that much on a single figure. The bonus accessories with both are fantastic (even if Warren's unmasked heads are Adam Warlock and Magus, I can live with that in exchange for the Death Mask head), and the exclusive nature of Magik will hopefully keep the SDCC version still special. I'm also much happier to have an Illyana with pupils. And that AIM pack, yes please. The Hydra pack didn't thrill me, but those stupid-ass beekeepers? I'm all in. Maybe we can get a new Sunfire in that upcoming X-Force wave, so he can be the AIM Supreme Leader again? And that DOFP set finally being confirmed for Target. Yes. We may buy a few of those, so if that happens, I'll give a shout-out to anyone looking to just get a Logan.

Teases - New classic Magneto, Quicksilver, and Mystique? YES. YES PLEASE. Hydra Cap? Mmmm, no, no thanks. Too little, too late, IMO. Not that I would have bought him, but we've finally started to wash the stink of Secret Empire off. Don't need to be reminded of that crap fest. And that last teased thing? I don't know what it is, but I do know that I've seen it before...

Comments from the panel - 90s Storm is my jam, but really, they could include as many Storms as Wolverines at this point and I think people would be happy. Good to know they intend to finish the Black Order in some form or another. Also glad that Jesse's on record as saying he wants to see more teams completed. Gives me hope.

Overall, the reveals were a bit lackluster compared to last year, but that's okay. 2018 has been a hard-hitting year, so we could use some time to breathe. Besides, there will be more reveals, according to the panel: Unboxing Toy Convention (Aug 4-5), Fan Expo Canada (Aug 30-Sep 2), NYCC (Oct 4-7), MCM Comic-Con (Oct 26-28), Comic-Con Paris (Oct 26-28), and Lucca Comics & Games (Oct 31-Nov 4). So, here's to waiting with baited breath!
